After several months of developing my own blog I recently wrote my first guest post on another person’s blog, Kilolani.com. The post was titled “Get More from Twitter – Twitter Marketing eBook Review” and the focus of my post was the review of a very well written eBook about Twitter marketing and promotion tips and techniques. The eBook was written by Marko Saric who publishes a well respected blog called HowToMakeMyBlog.com.
Kikolani.com is a very well run blog that features a wealth of great content and excellent design. Kristi Hines, the creator of Kikolani describes her blog: “Kikolani is about the art of blogging – the technical aspects with blogging and social networking tips, the beauty with photography and poetry, and the benefits for writers and readers.” With Kikolani having a much wider and diverse readership base than my HTSTechTips blog it was great to be able to write for a new and different audience. Twitter eBook Review
My post on Kikolani.com begins, “The meteoric rise in popularity of Twitter has spawned a rapid growth in media coverage, Twitter books and numerous Twitter-related applications and tools. The best hands-on book about Twitter, the social media platform, that I have come across is an e-Book written by well known blogger Marko Saric entitled Twitter Marketing: How to Go Viral on Twitter. The “Get More From Twitter” post examines the focus, content and potential benefits of Mr. Saric’s eBook. The main audience for the Twitter Marketing eBook and the review are people interested in “the tactical, hands-on use of Twitter for marketing and promotion, from growing an online audience, presence and reputation to driving more traffic to a web site or blog to growing product sales to lowering customer acquisition costs…”
